Buro Four has just been appointed as Project Manager for the Union Building at University College London. The project consists of the relocation of their existing UCL Union and Royal Free Medical Union facilities to existing UCL buildings. These comprise a combination of three adjoining buildings which sit in a conservation area, with one being listed. Two upper floors are to remain in occupation during the works.

The scope includes brief gathering/end user engagement; design development; structural alterations to accommodate new scheme; new services installations and complete fit-out. The construction cost is £2.9m and due for completion in Easter 2011
