We are delighted to announce that Goodricke College has been successfully handed over to the University of York with all rooms available for the start of the October term. This represents an improvement of the contract programme with the works delivered within budget. The 619-bed student residential development was completed in only 15 months on site and provides 13,200 sq ft of high-quality contemporary living space.

The handover has coincided with the completion of the necessary highways, pedestrian routes, landscape and utility works to allow students to take up residence in October. It forms part of the wider campus development at Heslington East, where 5 academic buildings are also under construction and on programme to complete ready for the next academic year starting October 2010.
