Today, the Dorchester Spa was handed back to the Hotel after a six month construction period. The project was completed on time and on budget, the old spa within the Hotel was completely stripped out as part of the contract works. The new spa now includes 9 treatment rooms, 2 steam rooms, gym, hair salon, barber shop, patisserie, relaxation area and a pedicure room covering over 7,500 Sq feet. One of the main features of the project is the pearl chandelier within the main entrance which has over 70,000 pearls. Another interesting feature is the pedicure room which displays over 1000 bottles of nail varnishes within a 'halo' of lights. Buro Four was employed as project manager for the whole scheme, from design through to FF&E installation.
