To embrace charitable work within Buro Four’s corporate social responsibility plans, in 2008 we piloted a charity project in Longido, Tanzania – land of an indigenous Maasai community. After consultations with our local partners, we developed projects to make a long term, sustainable difference to the community. Five Buro Four staff spent three weeks in Tanzania, working with the local community to support the development of a computer and internet facility and water harvesting storage units, that has left the community with a long lasting legacy. Buro Four continues to support the project in 2009.
