Buro Four project managed a Category B fit-out for Speechly Bircham LLP, (circa 65,000 sq ft) within the new Land Securities development 'New Street Square' in Holborn, London. The overall development is comprised of 5 buildings around the Square. Speechly Bircham occupy the first seven floors of No. 6 New Street Square.
Following the successful fit-out of Speechly Bircham’s previous offices in 2000, Buro Four was appointed again to provide Full Project Management Services for this commission. Duties included establishing client requirements and business drivers for relocation, selection and appointment of the project team, advice on building selection, due diligence and feasibility studies, monitoring construction cost and establishing overall project expenditure forecast.
Buro Four and Speechly Bircham have worked together over a long period of time on numerous construction projects and disputes. We also managed the fit-out of their previous headquarters at 6 St Andrew Street completed in November 2000, which was more about achieving a cultural change through new ways of working than purely management of the fit-out.
