Office fit-out and relocation of Manchester Evening News (MEN) into their new headquarters building in Spinningfields, Manchester. In addition to project managing the relocation and fit out of their new offices, Buro Four provided client support and advice services to lead the relocation decision making process and secure the right deal for MEN. Various property options were identified and a comparative financial analysis of alternatives was carried out. These were then benchmarked against staying put.

Once a site was chosen, the base build design was challenged in order to provide flexibility for future occupational requirements. In addition to this, key user requirements were established, facilities management strategies were challenged and business requirements and objectives were interrogated.  This approach has enabled the client to use the new environment as a catalyst for change, introducing new working practices and achieving culture change.
