A major retail development in Leeds city centre comprising reconstruction of the Trinity area together with refurbishment and re-modelling of the existing Leeds Shopping Plaza. The joint venture between Land Securities and Caddick Developments will present Leeds with its first one million square foot shopping development.

The new development will offer 100 units over four floors, comprising basement servicing, retail accommodation, cinema and restaurants. Shopping arcades are to be covered by a feature glazed roof which will create an exciting new public space for the city.  The refurbishment of Trinity West will involve the reconfiguration of retail units, provision of improved management facilities and new mall finishes. Works will be carried out as trading continues, with minimum interruption to business. 

Initially employed by Land Securities at the feasibility stage of the proposed re-development of Leeds Shopping Plaza, Buro Four has now been appointed as Project Manager of the overall development. Works commenced on site in February 2008. Regrettably due to the current retail market, on 30 April 2009 the Client made the decision to put the Trinity Leeds development on hold with the view to open the centre in 2012.
