The proposed redevelopment and extension of Bexleyheath town centre, including the creation of 150,000 sq ft retail space, 620 residential units (including 100 for social housing), new civic offices for Bexley Council housing circa 600 staff and extensive works to the public realm and transport network.
Buro Four was appointed to provide project management and development management services, including securing vacant possession of the site, overseeing the master planning and architectural design with presentations with CABE and GLA, developing alternative development options and appraisals, interacting with regional and local authorities to ensure that the scheme could be delivered and delivering a robust, deliverable planning application. Buro Four’s role included managing all Council and wider stakeholder negotiations including an extensive public consultation and exhibition.
